PTSD is a major issue faced by Active-Duty military personnel and Veterans

Through the power of gaming, and shared experiences, Retro Gaming affords respite from the struggles with PTSD

This is not a cure in its own right. However, Retro Gaming provides endless possibilities to detract from some of the worse side effects of PTSD

Gaming is a well-established and highly popular pastime that Active-Duty personnel, and veterans alike regularly enjoy

We bring in a new dimensions. Creativity is something that has proven to be highly effective for those who suffer from PTSD

Our Retro Games have three primary purposes:

1) provide unique games, computers, accessories, and apparel

2) Events as a way of bringing together a community with common interests, and building a support network

3) PTSD and families: PTSD is a complex subject and it can be hard for families to understand what the sufferer is going through

Retro Gaming provides a “comfortable outlet” and way of connecting where there is some temporary relief from the effects of PTSD

Reconnecting Families

Not just gaming but also through the “retro” connections

Connecting families through gaming is well established. One way we intend to build on that is through organized events

Our events will provide opportunities for ‘gamers’ to connect with other ;gamers; (extremely important for Veterans, especially)

Events will also be an opportunity for families to compete with other families.

We want to build a whole community of ‘gamers’

The ‘retro’ aspect of our games, computers, board games, etc gives an ideal way for families to connect in a meaningful way

Board games, for example, will be predominately from the 1980s to 1990s (same era from which most of our products draw inspiration)

The whole Mission is to help current and past military personnel, in particular, to find positive ways to deal with their PTSD and reconnect positively with their families

Active-Duty military personnel are away from their families for long periods of time

Upon leaving service and becoming Veterans, those who have served their country very often struggle to settle back into family life. Retro Gaming is on a Mission to change that

The "Mad Genius" Behind Retro Gaming Services

Eric is a U.S. ARMY Veteran, having served in the U.S. Military 3/47th infantry.

He spent the past 32 years in video gaming. As a result, he has extensive knowledge to share.

A huge fan of Star Trek and everything that represents “the best of” the 1980s through the 1990’s.

Eric is a man with a passion, and a big heart. Retro Gaming Services is his business, and his objective is to give back to society. Especially to help fellow Veterans and their families.

A philanthropist, Eric is keen to donate to good causes that help Veterans. So when you buy from Retro Gaming Services you are not just buying the best in retro gaming, you are demonstrating your support for Veterans.

The "Wizard" Behind Retro Gaming Services

Christopher is a U.S. ARMY Veteran, having served in the U.S. Military as a 31B, Military Police Officer.

He spent the past 32 years in a vast array of different experiences. Such as being a musician, producer, graphics designer, website developer, WordPress developer, back-end/front-end or full stack development, App development and more. As a result, he has extensive knowledge to share.

As a person he also suffers from PTSD and understands the vital importance of gaming. Christopher is a huge fan of strategy games and Retro Games like Diablo and Diablo 2 Resurrected.

Whether you have a set up issues that need his problem-solving skills, his knowledge in a specific field, or your ability to perform seemingly magical feats, being dubbed “the wizard” carries a sense of respect and admiration.
